Challenge
On this project, we had to ensure that the dining room matched perfectly with the adjacent lounge, which was under construction by a different contractor. Alignments for the articulated ceilings, floor finishes and millwork arrangements had to be precise, but as stipulated by law, there had to be a complete separation between workplaces.
Solution
Collaboration with the adjacent contractor and proactive planning were critical to ensuring a seamless finish. We shared some trades to execute this smooth execution, a unique solution as contractors rarely split resources.
